The NACO on-line IEC resource directory is a joint venture of NACO in collaboration with CHARCA (Coordinated HIV/AIDS Response through Capacity Building and Awareness) a joint UN project sponsored by UNIFEM, The IEC material uploaded in the directory are collected from different sources including State AIDS Control/ Prevention Societies, UN partners and NGOs. The materials are reviewed and rated with quality parameters for effectiveness & usage and its gender sensitivity with the help of experienced communication and gender experts from different organisations. The materials can be accessed by partners, individuals working in HIV programmes and by general public.
